Every generation has unique characteristics, passions, and habits. The church will be more effective in connecting with and mobilizing the youngest generations (NextGen) when there is greater understanding. Spending time with individuals in the generation is key, but conversation and training can help as well. This two-hour panel-led event will focus on ways to assist the NextGen in their discipleship.
WHEN: Thursday, September 5, 10:00-Noon.
WHERE: Northside Baptist Church, 1800 Pear Orchard Rd, Elizabethtown, KY.
WHO: Matt Flanagan, Children’s and Student Consultant with the Kentucky Baptist Convention, will facilitate this discussion along with a panel of practitioners.
WHAT: The panel will lead the group to examine practical opportunities us to come alongside the younger generations in their discipleship. Discover ways to increase your effectiveness and impact.
COST: $10 for nonmembers. Free for Discipleship Network of Kentucky members (Cost to join is only $25.).
REGISTER: www.kybaptist.org/nextgen. We encourage advanced registration. You have the option to join the Discipleship Network when you register for this event.
Participants are invited to a fellowship lunch afterwards (dutch treat), at a nearby restaurant.
